Nozzle Fire brick Introduction
The Nozzle Fire brick is a refractory steel outlet inlaid in the bottom of the bucket.The upper part of the nozzle brick is camber shape, which is convenient to open and close the nozzle and reduce the resistance of molten steel flow. The lower part is straight line section to stabilize the injection flow.The inner diameter of the nozzle directly affects the casting speed, and the nozzle tissue can be in the range of 20 to 120mm.Nozzle brick can be made of high alumina and Caborundum.
Features of Two Kinds of Nozzle Fire brick:
1. High alumina Nozzle fire brick :The traditional nozzle brick is made of alumina cement combined with high alumina refractory castable and its life is generally 3~6 months.
2. Caborundum nozzle fire brick :
1) Hard texture, Mohs hardness is about 9, rank only second to diamond.
2) The maximum safe operating temperature can reach 1650-1750℃.
3) Small coefficient of thermal expansion, good thermal shock stability, long service life.
4) High temperature creep resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, easy to be made into products with high dimensional accuracy.
